Product Description

Biocell integrated wastewater treatment plant is based on MBBR technology using bio media.

The basic principal of MBBR process is the growth of biomass on plastic supports that move in the biological reactor via agitation generated by aeration systems (aerobic reactor) or by mechanical systems (in anoxic or anaerobic reactor). The supports are made from HDPE plastic with a density close to 1 g/cm3, letting them move easily in the reactor even when the capacity reaches 70%.

Applications
MBBR media can be used in both aerobic process and anaerobic process.

Because little or no additional tankage is required, it is an ideal solution for plants with limited space for expansion. It is also an excellent choice for space efficient, high performance new plant designs.
